The Board of Investment Mauritius to host a major international conference with view of promoting sustainable investment in Africa

In 2015, FDI flows to Africa were estimated at USD 54 billion. However, the potential investment target is yet to be reached as a result of an existing shortfall of some USD 100 billion in the infrastructural development sector alone. The Africa Partnership Conference 2016 themed "Creating shared value through sustainable investment", which will be held on the 20th and 21st September 2016 will provide a unique platform to address the infrastructural funding gap which is a major challenge to optimising FDI inflows in Africa.
