African Business & Social Responsibility Forum, 20-21 February 2017, Le Labourdonnais Hotel, Mauritius
In 2014, a prospective study from UN Global Compact and Accenture stated that more than 60% of African’s entrepreneurs assessed that Sustainable Development was relevant for the upcoming success of their enterprises.
This result translates through numerous initiatives in Enterprises’ Societal Responsibility, that Africa is experiencing, in parallel, tremendous opportunities for Inclusive and Sustainable Development, performance improvement of companies and their reputation.
This trend, which fits with UN’s call related to the implementation of 17 new goals of Sustainable Development, deserves an acknowledgement with high added value. Tangible outcome from a joint dialogue, The Forum of the social commitment of Companies in Africa fits into that sense.
This forum will allow enterprises from the Continent to value their “success stories” and to get inspired by “best practices” into Societal Engagement.
