Business Forum: Creative Mauritius, 23rd June 2016, Paris

Mauritius: the ideal platform for ICT/BPO activities

The Board of Investment of Mauritius, in collaboration with Syntec Numérique is organising a business forum focusing on investment opportunities in the Mauritian ICT sector on Thursday, 23rd June 2016 at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand  from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

4th Africa Business Forum, 1st June 2016, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Board of Investment will participate in the 4th edition of the Africa Business Forum on 1st June 2016 at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The BOI will capitalize on this event to boost the visibility of Mauritius as the ideal platform for investments into Africa and promote the Africa Centre of Excellence. 

In a bid to establish and enhance relations with key associations in Ethiopia, Mr. Vinay Guddye, Head of Outward Investment will conduct a series of one-to-one meetings with  Ethiopian trade associations, Ministries and the Pan African Chamber of Commerce, amongst others.

Mauritius Your Strategic Regional Partner, 16 – 20 May 2016 , South Africa

As part of its investment promotion strategy, the Board of Investment will lead a road show targeting 3 cities in South Africa from 16 to 20 May 2016.

The Board of Investment will host a series of targeted Breakfast Meetings, Business Forum and One to One Meetings in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg. The interactive Breakfast Meetings and Business Forum will provide key insights on the Mauritius Business Environment and Sectoral Opportunities.

Digital Economy Workshop

As part of public consultations for the National Budget 2016-2017, the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development is organising a one-day workshop on Digital Economy.

"Make In India Week", 13th - 18th February 2016 - Mumbai

'Make in India' is a major Indian initiative designed to facilitate investment, foster innovation, enhance skill development, protect intellectual property and build best-in-class manufacturing infrastructure in India. 'Make in India' aims at propelling the Indian economy by forging global engagement with the Indian industry in the form of partnerships and investments. The initiative was launched in September 2014.
